The MEANDER and RYSY hotels are
situated in the wonderful foothill area of the High Tatra mountains in the
village Štrba,
local part Tatranská Štrba. The hotel Rysy is about
five minutes by walk from the hotel Meander.
The hotels have the advantage
of being located in a beautiful, natural setting while at the same time being
easily accessible (by road, train, bus and
airplane).
Numerous excursions are possible
within the High Tatras National Park
in which the hotel is situated, and to neighbouring areas such as the
Belianske Tatras,
Kežmarok
and Levoča (old cities),
Vrbov
(thermal water),
Červený Kláštor
(rafting on the river Dunajec),
as well as to more distant ones, such as
Prešov and Košice.
The Polish side of the Tatra Mountains, centered at
Zakopane, is also within easy range.
