Helminthologia
publishes original papers from different fields of helminthology. The
journal aims to contribute to the advancement of human and veterinary
medicine, as well as agronomy by communicating the latest research in
helminthology.
Helminthologia has been published by the Parasitological Institute of
SAS (formerly Helminthological Institute) since 1959. It is the only journal
in Central Europe that publishes individual and collaborative research
papers from international scientists in veterinary medicine and natural
science.
The
journal takes a comprehensive and multidisciplinary approach to the most
current issues in helminthology, and is committed to ensuring the rapid
dissemination of the latest research to the academic community.

Aims and scope:
Helminthologia publishes peer-reviewed original scientific articles,
review articles, and research notes on various aspects of pure and
applied helminthology, particularly on helminth- and endo-parasites in
human and animal hosts, and plant parasites of environmental, health and
veterinary importance, along with taxonomic contributions. Book reviews
and Letters to the Editor offering comments on material published in
this journal are also welcomed.
The
journal covers the following disciplines: parasitology, immunology,
taxonomy, morphology, phytonematology, ecology.
