The main objective of ICMF 11 is to promote the progress and knowledge in the field of magnetic fluids regarding their chemistry, physical and magnetic properties, heat and mass transfer, surface phenomena, as well as their technological and biomedical applications. As the research on magnetic fluids is essentially interdisciplinary, experts from related areas will be invited to present the contributions with a view to extend the frontiers of knowledge in the field and to present the new trends.

ICMF 11 shall bring together over 250 specialists from approximately 30 countries worldwide, providing the opportunity to share their knowledge on appropriate scientific level, as well as to discover and define the problems to be explored. The conference program will include lectures given by invited speakers and conference participants, and poster communications involving all aspects of magnetic fluids. The conference language will be English. The proceedings are planned for publication as a special issue of the Journal of Magnetism and Magnetic Materials.
