Štrbské Pleso
is the highest settlement on the west side of
High Tatras (in the altitude ~1350 m), located
at the heart of the Tatra National Park
(TANAP), and is also the place
of the the highest
climate spa in the Slovak Republic, and all this complex is named after
the
alpine lake Štrbské Pleso.
Štrbské Pleso hosted the
World Championship in Nordic events in the 1970.

Note : Although the wish of organizers is to have the same beautiful sunny weather as last year, however it cannot be garanted because the weather conditions in the High Tatras changes often very rapidly.

The hotel is within a walking distance (~1 km) from the train station
(Tatra Electric Railways to Starý Smokovec / Poprad and
cog wheel railway to Štrba).
The plenary sessions will take place in the
Congress Hall of the Patria hotel with the conference
office nearby.
