The technology is used for grinding and homogenisation of materials in mills in a discontinuous mode. It is based on the knowledge of the mode of grinding in batch mills. The overall period of grinding in mills with a charge of approx. 30 m3 of material is currently within the range of 25 – 30 hrs. The distribution and homogenisation of batch consisting of several components (it is possible to use 7 kinds of ceramic materials in one charge) proceeds in stages, each requiring a different revolution mode. The built-in regulator of revolutions changes the speed of rotation of mill according to the experimentally determined regulation curve allowing to reduce the period of grinding by approx. 30%.
