Technology is based on bio - and chemical degradation of gold bearing minerals (arsenopyrite and pyrite) and the following thiourea gold extraction from the solid residue. The recovery of gold is 93% in comparison with 8% Au for non-treated as received concentrate. The process is the alternative for pretreatment methods based on oxidative roasting.
