Following block-diagram shows an organization structure of the IGT. The institute is parted into five research departments, two service teams and organization-technical department, supporting the research performed by the departments. The management of institute runs the administrative and finance matters and carries out the tasks necessary for undisturbed operation of research activities. The director has two assistant managers, one for management and economical activities, and the second one, scientific secretary for scientific activities. The flow of scientific and management information to the department levels is performed by the Institute Council where all the departments are represented by the department heads, research teams leaders and commercial treaties managers. The scientific information is provided by Scientific Board.
