Air
The nearest airports to the conference site are Poprad-Tatry (25 km from Levoča, http://www.airport-poprad.sk/english.html) and Košice (90 km, http://www.airportkosice.sk). There are regular flights from Poprad to Prague and London-Stansted, and from Košice to Vienna, Prague and Bratislava.
Bratislava airport (http://www.airportbratislava.sk/flashContent/default3.html) has regular flights (mainly by low cost low fare airlines SkyEurope and RyanAir) to a number of destinations.

Train
The nearest stop of IC/EC trains from Vienna, Bratislava and Prague is a Poprad-Tatry (25 km from Levoča). An IC train trip from Bratislava to Poprad (350 km) takes 4 hours.

Organizers will provide an assistance with transport from Poprad and Košice airports, and Poprad railway station to Levoča.

Car
If you plan to come by car, Levoča lies on international road E50. The best routes from Vienna are:

• Vienna - Bratislava - Trenčín - Žilina - Poprad - Levoča (430 km including 230 km on motorway, duration: about 5.5 hours.)
• Vienna - Bratislava - Nitra - Banská Bystrica - Poprad - Levoča (415 km including 160 km on motorway, duration: about 6 hours.)

There will be parking places close to the hotels and conference center in Levoča reserved for the SQM 2007 participants (fee 2 EUR/day)

Zimányi Memorial Workshop, Budapest
Colleagues who plan to participate also in Zimányi Memorial Workshop in Budapest could fly to Budapest Ferihegy airport (http://www.bud-airport.hu/english), usually you can find very good ticket prices, and travel to Levoča using the train connection
