Univerzita P.J. Šafárika Institute of Experimental Physics SAS Centre of Low Temperature Physics


The Cryoconference 2010 is hosted by the Centre of Low Temperature Physics, the joint research centre of P.J. Šafárik University and Institute of Experimental Physics of the Slovak Academy of Sciences in Košice (Slovakia). Participants will gather in hotel Mýto, Mýto pod Ďubierom, in Slovak mountains Nízke Tatry (Low Tatras), 9-15 September 2010.


The town of Košice is located in the eastern part of Slovakia (map). Košice is the second largest town in Slovakia with more than 700 years long history. The conference site is hotel Mýto in village Mýto pod Ďubierom in Nízke Tatry (Low Tatras) mountains about 2.5 hour drive from Košice (map).

After the arrival to Košice all participants will be transported to the conference site by buses departing from P.J. Šafárik University Rectorate - download map here. The Rectorate is the Meeting point, where you can leave your baggage during the late luch in Villa Reggia restaurant and city tour.


It should be noted that tickets for domestic flight (Bratislava - Kosice or Bratislava - Poprad-Tatry) include VAT. However, EU regulations do not allow us to reimburse VAT  so that only  the net price of the ticket (without VAT) can be reimbursed.
