All costs (including travel) can be covered for participants meeting the eligibility conditions of Marie Curie Training events. Interested scientists are kindly requested to check the eligibility conditions of Marie Curie Training events (Handbook of Marie Curie Training events).

Not eligible persons may be able to participate paying a fee of 400 €, which covers full board (no travel) during the conference. A reduction can be eventually granted on demand.

The scientific advisory committee will choose participants (with all costs covered) using the following criteria (in order of importance):

  • 1. Outstanding experimental or theoretical scientific contribution to a sub field of Low Temperature Physics or Cryogenics.
  • 2. Master degree after January 2006 or close to this date.
  • 3. Participation in previous Marie Curie Advanced Cryogenic Courses.

Other applications will be also very seriously considered, especially from young brilliant scientists and engineers in Cryogenics and Low Temperature Physics that do not meet criteria 2 and 3.

The scientific advisory committee will chose speakers among the applicants, following the scientific quality of the work submitted to the conference and its relevance to Cryogenics and Low Temperature Physics. The work need not be published. In that case the candidates are requested to supply a letter of recommendation from one mentor. Remaining participants will be invited to present a poster.
